A flipped classroom inverts traditional instruction by providing lectures online and bringing "homework" into class. This presentation briefly introduces flipped pedagogy, and focuses on concrete examples regarding classroom activities, including collaboration and assessment. Participants will explore a variety of answers to the question, “What do I do with class time if I’m not giving lectures?” |
Biography |
"I've been teaching Physics & Mathematics for 8 years at Kitchener-Waterloo Collegiate during which time I've coached football, hockey and rugby. I've recently graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Master of Education degree that focused on Physics Education." |
